Trial License Request

Evaluate FEM Data Streamliner software for FEA post-processing and structural validation.

About the Trial License

We offer a trial license for engineers and organizations who wish to evaluate FEM Data Streamliner — our FEA post-processing software for ANSYS and FEMAP. The trial version provides full functionality for testing automated structural validation, plate and frame checks, and reporting tools.

Experience has shown that many users request a test license only to solve a temporary design problem, without further engagement. To ensure meaningful evaluations, we distinguish between students and companies in our license policy.

Students

Students and academic institutions are always eligible for a free trial license. We encourage students to use FEMDS as part of research or educational projects to explore plate buckling, frame design, and code-based strength checks.

Companies

Professional engineers and companies can also request a trial license. However, we ask for a brief explanation of the intended use — to confirm that the license is for testing and evaluation purposes only, not for commercial projects.

  • Use a company email address (e.g., name@company.com). Generic email services such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail are not accepted.
  • Briefly describe what you intend to evaluate (for example, plate buckling checks according to DNV-RP-C201, or post-processing of ANSYS results).
  • Trial licenses are typically valid for 15 days.

License Scope

The trial version includes all FEMDS calculation modules running securely on our cloud servers:

  • Plate buckling and strength verification (DNV-RP-C201, ABS Guidelines, Eurocode 3)
  • Frame and member strength checks (AISC, API-RP-2A, ISO 19902)
  • Automatic combination of tension, compression, and Von Mises stress checks
  • Integration with ANSYS ACT and FEMAP post-processing

How it works: You collect the necessary FEA data locally on your computer and submit it to the FEMDS cloud. The calculations are performed securely on our servers, and the results are sent back for review. No local computation is required beyond preparing the input data.

On the software of FEMDS are general terms and conditions applicable.
